Celebrating Pride at Spectrum

Over the years, we have looked for ways to express our allyship to the LGBTQIA+ community — especially during Pride Month. Our goal has always been to increase awareness, support and education on the history, experiences and issues affecting people in the community. All of this, we hope, not only fosters inclusivity within our company but also in our industry at large.

As we kickoff another Pride month, we want to take a look at some of the ways we have shown support, so we can continue to build and strengthen our allyship to the LGBTQIA+ community in June and beyond.

Youphoria

In 2023, we wanted to shine a spotlight specifically on the transgender and genderqueer community and uplift the incredible work so many activists, influencers and business owners were doing. Youphoria is a curated collect of transgender and genderqueer content meant to celebrate various goods, people and resources for anyone whether they just want to learn more or explore their own gender identity. Check out what they have to say!

Saying Gay in the USA

In 2022, on the heels of reports of book bans across the country, we developed a coloring book for all ages to learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community, sexual orientation and gender identity. This coloring book not only provided critical resources and information but also raised money for the American Library Association with evert download. Download your free copy today!

Virtual Pride Parade

In 2021, we wanted to find a way to recognize the duality between the joy of Pride and the struggles of fighting for equality and visibility. We decided to design a virtual parade that features digital floats commissioned from LGBTQIA+ artists and content and resources that explore health disparities disproportionately affecting the community. Click to up your cultural competency to foster inclusion!
