In the Big League: Spectrum’s Agency 100 Ranking and Election Year Advocacy

Celebrating the top marketing agencies in North America, MM+M recently announced their annual Agency 100 list. Spectrum has once again made the list, ranking at number 39.

See MM+M’s agency showcase to learn how Spectrum continued to go beyond the science quo throughout 2023.

Every year, MM+M asks their Agency 100 honorees to showcase their creative skills and demonstrate their core values as an organization. Last year, MM+M asked honorees to design a concert T-shirt, and Spectrum raised awareness on the important public health issue of gun violence. The year prior, Spectrum developed a book cover that took a stand against “Don’t Say Gay” legislation and the banning of books across the U.S. education system.

This year, every honoree was tasked with creating a sports jersey to represent their agency. As the 2024 presidential election approaches later this year, we chose to highlight the importance of making one’s voice heard.

A sports jersey can represent several themes related to competition: teamwork, collaboration, pushing ourselves and the people around us to be better. But there’s also the dark side of competition: divisiveness, contention, tunnel vision. Spectrum has always been an organization that values collaboration over silos. For us, a team is made stronger by a diversity of perspectives. By amplifying every voice across all our teams, we get even closer to accomplishing our ultimate mission: to connect all humankind to its best healthlife.
